The Vista Club amenity center is open. That makes a visit especially useful: you can move beyond a brochure and ask how the spaces, activities and operating rules fit the life you want to lead. Go with a short set of questions rather than trying to see everything at once.
Test a normal routine
Pick two or three activities that would matter in an ordinary week. If you expect to swim, ask about lap-lane access and pool rules. If fitness classes are important, ask for the current schedule and any registration process. For court sports, ask how reservations, open play and beginner sessions are organized.
A published amenity list is not a timetable. The most helpful document is a current activity calendar with any extra charges and booking requirements clearly shown. Ask what changes seasonally and how residents learn about cancellations or new groups.
Consider how you will get there
Walk or otherwise test the route from the area where you are considering a home. Notice slope, shade, crossings and the point of arrival. A facility that you admire during a guided visit should also be comfortable to reach when you are carrying sports equipment or returning after an evening gathering.
If accessibility is relevant to your household, ask specific questions about entrances, routes, changing facilities and the activity itself. Do not assume that a general description answers every individual access need.
Ask about guests and accounts
The community's occupancy rules and its amenity guest rules are separate. Request both. Find out whether visitors need registration, whether minors have designated times or restrictions and whether a resident must accompany guests.
For the Bar & Grille, review the current food-and-beverage minimum policy. The supplied January 2026 fee sheet describes a $780 annual minimum credited to household purchases. Confirm how the account works now, including current hours and eligible spending.
Decide what you would actually use
After the tour, list the spaces you expect to use weekly, monthly and rarely. Then compare that pattern with the recurring cost and your other priorities. An amenity should earn its place in your decision through usefulness to you, not simply because it looks attractive in a photograph.
